The Daily Poetry Stop
I am going back to my roots. The way I had originally envisioned this site. I will post random poems here. New, old, published and unpublished. I no longer feel that I need a motivational reason to write. It is just something I do.

Cold Blue
© by Aubrey E. Drummond
While you were still alive
When we loved
We loved so true
While you were still alive
When we loved
Baby, we loved so true
When you died
Oh baby, when you died
Who knew
Red-hot love could become
Cold blue
Even now
I swear at the heavens above
I question why
They stole my love
Even now
I question
the heavens above
for the theft
of my love
How could they
Be so mean
To steal my love...
