It was the day of the feast He was forced to eat Of the bird he detests He would have rather held The leg of a goat or a fish Placed upon his dish Or any other mess Instead, he must chew On this tasteless meat lie and give thanks to the host For the food that’s been cooked And sat out for his false blessing to eat .
