The Daily Poetry Stop
I am going back to my roots. The way I had originally envisioned this site. I will post random poems here. New, old, published and unpublished. I no longer feel that I need a motivational reason to write. It is just something I do.

By what right should I share my feelings of despair . . . ? Who do I wish to care? Take me by the arm Lead me from worldly harm Huh! Wish I was a believing man swearing by him to stand kneeling in prayer to him each day To me, what would he say? Ah, but I’m not one to believe in theories created by some other men All I need is my self-belief to carry me through my day No, I need no helping hand from something I can’t understand All I need is my self-belief the realization that I too am man All I need is self-esteem and the knowledge that I too truly can stand strong in being a Black man .
