The Daily Poetry Stop
I am going back to my roots. The way I had originally envisioned this site. I will post random poems here. New, old, published and unpublished. I no longer feel that I need a motivational reason to write. It is just something I do.

Fulfilling Death
© by Aubrey E. Drummond
Deadman rest Within his coffin Craving the life He had Nighttime fills With jungle beats Brass of screeching horns Jazz beat beats Within his heart Dead but yet undead Red smell smells Of Red blood cells Calling him to rise Spread of wings through nightly skies to seek capture and lick The Taste of Long white necks And nibble upon Their breasts Draining the body Of hot white life Suckling on the blood Giving death A fresh new life While he resides among The fools .
