The Daily Poetry Stop
I am going back to my roots. The way I had originally envisioned this site. I will post random poems here. New, old, published and unpublished. I no longer feel that I need a motivational reason to write. It is just something I do.

The Mask
© by Aubrey E. Drummond
Laugh at my mask
Look how silly
I look
Laugh at my mask
Maybe I should wear
pantyhose
Speak up you say
You can’t hear
A word
Not when you’ve
been masked
With the lies
You’ve been told
This mask is why
I am still alive
And sound
And you
Dear neighbor
Are six feet
Underground
