The Daily Poetry Stop

I miss your happy sounds Your giddy throaty coughs have been replace with splintered eruptions I watch in horror as the seeds that once were happiness now dark and soiled with sadness spill from your lips Never to grow again in the sunshine and I know soon that light in your eyes once bright now turned to yellow will dim darken and shine no more .
